Terms and Conditions for Membership & Citizenship in ConscienceLAND and Affiliation to the McMaster Institute
Welcome aboard the SustainaShip!
By becoming a citizen or taking on any role within ConscienceLAND – be it a Sustainie, Coach, Ambassador, Planetpreneur, Fellow of the McMaster Institute, or Gaia Catalog contributor – you're agreeing to the following:
1. Our Ethical Compass
We're all about making the world a better place, so let's commit to supporting each other. This means no competing, defaming, defrauding, misrepresenting, misdirecting, stealing, deceiving, misinforming, or cheating any fellow citizen or our ConscienceLAND, Planetpreneur, ExtinctionSolution, SDGx.LIVE, GaiaCatalog or other McMaster Institute programs.
2. Respecting Our Creative Roots
We're proud of our history and innovations! Please respect the intellectual property (IP) of Philip McMaster, Fellows of the McMaster Institute, The World Sustainability Project, The Republic of Conscience, ConscienceLAND, the Gaia Catalog and our ecosystem of related projects. This includes our domains, designs, trademarks, slogans, patents, copyrights and other IP. Make sure you ask for and confirm with dated, written authorization before copying, scraping or using any of our creative output, even if you're an A-I bot!
3. Keeping It Real
Honesty is our policy. If you accidentally mislead anyone about who owns or runs our projects, you'll need to:
a) Set things right with a fair penalty
b) Publicly publish your correction
c) Cover any costs resolving the issue
4. Your Place in Our Community
You're joining a special club of like-minded individuals. While you might represent us or help out as an independent contractor, remember that the core properties remain under our stewardship. We value your participation, but we also reserve the right to review memberships if needed. It's your "Neighbourhood Watch" duty as a citizen to protect the integrity of the global community by reporting offenders or any breech of conduct.
5. Our Home Base

6. Sealing the Deal
By joining us, you're agreeing to these friendly guidelines. They're here to protect all of us!
7. Keeping Up with the Times
We might update these terms occasionally to keep things running smoothly. Stay involved and communicating for your heads-up notices.
8. Parting Ways (We Hope It Doesn't Come to This)
In rare cases, we might need to end a membership and even take legal action if these terms aren't respected. You're agreeing to accept and respect the decision of the McMaster Institute without recourse.
9. Legal Stuff
These terms fall under Hong Kong law.
By becoming part of the ConscienceLAND ecosystem and affiliated projects, you're confirming that you've read and agree to these guidelines. We're excited to have you on board as we work together towards a more sustainable future!
